Superintendent CJ Anderson discussed state funding for teacher raises, rural capital funds and local school needs, as well as CTE, Four Day School Friday services offered in the community and the positive impacts of various mental health initiatives offered districtwide. The upcoming webinar on mental health is a focus on Anxiety and how to support and alleviate it. Anderson also promoted CTE Month and talked about the value of career and technical education and STEM. Our superintendent is also a fan of the arts and will appear in the upcoming Overland Stage and Great Basin College Theatre production of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
