The Elko rally coincides with a national effort.

The city is poised to take back the Elko Girls Scout House for use by local non-profits, the downtown Elko RDA Sidewalk project is nearing completion, and Parks and Rec Advisory Board will give numerous updates during Thursday’s regular meeting.

Original air date: 10/10/25 Matt McCarty, Director of the Elko Senior Center, provided an update on Senior Center news ranging from holiday events to the status of Meals on Wheels and fundraising for a parcel of land to locate a future Senior Center. The center serves M-F meals at 11:30 a.m. for a suggested donation for seniors 60 or better. Under 60 can eat for $10 per meal. Call 775-738-3030.
