Elko City Manager Jan Baum and City Clerk Cathy Laughlin discussed agenda items including a presentation by the Flight Alliance of Northeastern Nevada, applying for a SCASDP Grant for air service development and reappointing City Planning Commission members John Lemich and Garret Kamps. The city council is set to consider a request from the Downtown Business Association to host food trucks during seasonal wine walks and will consider a road closure on Manzanita Dr. to accommodate the return of the Union Pacific Big Boy Steam Train on July 18th. The City Council is also considering a short list for Qualified Engineering professionals.
