County Commissioner Delmo Andreozzi dedicated most of the radio
discussion to discovery and possible response to a late bill in the
Nevada Legislature that could force a local tax rate to pay for a new
public school on the Owyhee Reservation. SB 519 has support and
would create a rural school account to fund capital improvements
statewide. Commissioners called a meeting on the topic for Friday, June
2.
