Elko County Commissioner Jon Karr discussed county capital plans, the creation of an AB 519 Committee to establish a tax rate for school construction and the approval of a Mental Health Court. 2024 is a local election year with county and city offices as well as judicial positions being considered. Karr discussed accomplishments including Elko County Fire Protection District and creating a County Dispatch Center.
