Elko City Manager Jan Baum recounted the recent council meeting decisions to include plans for a new city swimming pool to be constructed and operated by the Boys and Girls Clubs; the latest on the public nuisance at The Elko inn, and the council unanimous support of continued revenue guarantee to keep Skywest flights aloft. The City Manager also detailed cold weather plans and operations including the golf course closure, winterizing the parks and Emergency Shelter plans for area homeless who encounter zero conditions.
