City Manager Jan Baum discussed several grant applications that will appear before the City Council during the regular meeting. Requests for federal funds for a southside water tank as well as money for the final phase of Errecart Loop Road construction requesting $500K are on the agenda. The city is also applying for a 150-thousand-dollar grant from Nevada Conservation to extend the HARP Trail to the planned Urban Pond at 12th Street. The city will entertain a proposal from the EHS Booster Club for support for a Warrior Field renovation. The budget is also leading the agenda as fiscal impacts loom.
