1/22/2024 Elko County Public Health (Meeting 1 17)

Today’s program featured excerpts from the recent Elko County Health Board meeting (1 17) in which COVID and flu were discussed, suicide and overdose rates were disclosed, and advocates spoke about advances in local health care services. The meeting ran for more than an hour and was chaired by Elko County Public Health Officer Dr. Bryce Putnam. The segments included for broadcast featured Great Basin College, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, The Great Basin Children’s Advocacy Center and the Elko County Sheriff’s Office.
