Elko City Police Chief Ty Trouten is retiring in July. During this program, he talks about the transition period during which incoming Chief Kyle Ward will be introduced to staff and the community. Chief Trouten also talked about the significance of DUI enforcement and shortfalls the department is experiencing as well as efforts to reduce property crime and drug offenses. National Night Out is set for August 5th.
