Water Department Director Dale Johnson, Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent Jim Kerr and Andrew Storla discussed water conservation, operations and a modernization plan to include rate hikes beginning this summer. Phased in water meters for all Elko City Residents will close a financial gap and support the Water & Sewer Funds as Enterprise Accounts. Summer Watering restrictions go into effect June 15-September 15th.
