Elko City Planner Cathy Laughlin discussed Downtown Revitalization projects as funded through the Infrastructure and Storefront Improvement grants; plans for artwork installation inspire by local artists, and a more than two-million-dollar sidewalk improvement to enhance corridor businesses with pedestrian safety and access, as well as appealing landscaping. The City of Elko is also involved in a feasibility study and recommendations from an architectural firm to replace or enhance City Hall.
