Elko County Public Guardian Kathy Jones and Deputy Ashley Gurr, who administers Social Services for the county, described a variety of benefits to help disadvantaged people. Rent and utility assistance, food and transportation costs, as well as networking and resources were included in the discussion. Jones is currently serving 23 clients in the Elko County area who need assistance in managing their resources.
