Marissa Lostra and Giovanni Puccinelli are both current council members and are vying for Mayor. Councilman Chip Stone has filed as an incumbent while Walter Fick and Chip Stone are also filed candidates. Elko City Parks & Recreation Director James Wiley and Parks Superintendent Joe Carr were guests to talk about a $1.4 million renovation of pickleball courts and basketball court refinishing as well as the handball court in time for National Basque festivities.
