Elko County School Superintendent CJ Anderson delivered budget news to include a possible adjustment at Flagview Intermediate where all Elko City 5th and 6th grade students attend class. One proposal would reduce Flag View to only 6th grade next year, leaving current 4th graders to remain at their current campuses. Flag View would NOT close under the proposed scenario but would reduce staff resulting in school district savings. The ECSD is looking to offset an $11.1 million dollar budget shortfall
