Elko City Vice Mayor Mandy Simons discussed recent actions by the governing board to revoke the Punch Bowl liquor license, closing the bar in downtown Elko. During the same special meeting on August 29th, the council also declared The Elko Inn at 8th and Idaho Street is a public nuisance. The owners of the property are officially required to complete several conditions before a business license will be issued for the business.
