City Manager Jan Baum highlighted agenda items in advance of the afternoon meeting including an update on the public nuisance at Shady Elms Trailer Park. The city utilities director reported that the Board of Financing has approved the Elko City Water Modernization Plan paving the way for water meters throughout the city in 2025. There were several recreation updates and the council is seeking to fill several professional positions.
