President & CEO of Nevada Women’s Fund Ila Atchabowski outlined the goals and accomplishments of the Nevada Women’s Fund in highlighting a special event coming to Elko on September 17th at the Western Folklife Center from 6-8 p.m. The celebratory dinner will include a keynote speaker, Kirstie Ennis, who will talk about her extraordinary achievements as a philanthropist and extreme adaptive athlete. Ennis is a retired USMC Sergeant injured in a helicopter crash. The Nevada Women’s Fund has awarded $40K in scholarships to Elko and Spring Creek students.
