Elko City Manager Jan Baum and Elko Regional Airport Manager Jim Foster talked about Elko Regional Airport issues including continuation and expansion of commercial air service. Daily Skywest Flights are in jeopardy without adequate funding. The City of Elko has been providing a Minimum Revenue Guarantee to keep regional flights to and from Salt Lake City. The newly-formed non-profit, Flight Alliance of Northeastern Nevada is hosting a meeting Thursday, August 22 at the Elko Convention Center at 4 p.m. to discuss continued flight service.
