Elko Police Chief Kyle Ward and Detective Cassie Barainca were guests to talk about child safety from predators online and in person. The EPD is hosting a class on the topic on Thursday, August 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Elko Police Station Community Meeting Room. The EPD collaborates with the Child Advocacy Center, Nevada Institute of Forensic Nursing and other agencies to educate the community and keep families safe.
