Elko County School Superintendent CJ Anderson talked about a recent trip to Washington DC with other rural school leaders to discuss school funding, student and faculty mental health and several national initiatives. There is troubling news that lawmakers are considering a bill to drastically cut public education in the coming biennium, by as much as 14%. Superintendent Anderson also outlined local school board considerations for a 5-year-capital plan and current projects underway.
