7/12/2024 Elko Live - “Your Public Lands” Elko BLM

Sheryl Miller of the California Trail Interpretive Center and Clint Mothershed from ELKO BLM District talked about summer activities for youngsters at the trail center and extreme fire danger throughout the region. A Fire Weather Watch is up for dry thunderstorms and gusty winds so residents and visitors are asked to use added care with anything that could spark a fire in the outdoors. The Trail Center is encouraging registration for the August Time Traveler Day Camp in conjunction with Nevada Outdoors School.
