Elko City Fire Chief James Johnston and Fire Marshal Seth Frandsen talked about flood assessment plans nearing completion, the adoption of the latest Fire Codes and new subdivisions nearing approval in Elko City limits. Elko Fire is also recruiting volunteers to join Lee Engine Company and working with the Elko TV District to enhance emergency communications and operability within the region.
