Thalia Marin, Director of the non-profit and board member Sharla McDade, were guests to talk about the 5^th annual Awareness Conference to be held May 3-5^th at the Elko Convention Center. There will be presentations, a talking circle, vendors and an MMIW Awareness Walk on Tuesday, May 5^th at 2:30 p.m. followed by a tour of the Great Basin Children’s Advocacy Center and the First Tuesday event at the Elko Convention Center at 5:30 p.m.
