Associate Professor and County Educator Jill Tingey described a variety of extension service programs available in-person and online throughout the rural Nevada service area. Heart & Hope provides skills and resources for families recovering from domestic violence to build a new life. Elko County 4-H provides youth leadership through hands on curriculum and content, encouraging adults to share skills and hobbies. SNAP-Ed is looking for local educators to coordinate on-site nutrition. There is a Nevada Economic Assessment Project underway and a Farm to Fork Certification Program.
