Elko City Manager Jan Baum and Financial Services Director Julie Davis discussed the clean audit presentation set for the afternoon meeting and outlined proposed changes to the downtown Elko parade route. Supporters will approach the council to rename a baseball field in honor of the late Gaylan Christean. The council is also set to review and accept an agreement between the Boys and Girls Clubs and the City to own, operate and maintain the Recreation and Aquatic Center that is set to open January 1st 2026.
