11/25/2025 Elko Live - Elko City Update

City Manager Jan Baum highlighted agenda items for the afternoon meeting including meeting the new Child Advocacy Center Electronic Storage Device Detection K9. “Trigger” will be introduced during the meeting as the council is expected to approve donations to cover the coast of the specialty K9, handling and training. The community is invited to the next “First Tuesday,” event on December 2 from 5-7 p.m. at the Elko Regional Airport. The final City Council meeting of the year, Tuesday, December 9^th, will include the presentation of the Mayor’s Arts Awards for 2025.
