Elko City Councilwoman Mandy Simons discussed the Flight Alliance of Northeastern Nevada to preserve commercial air service at the Elko Regional Airport. The Elko Inn is being monitored by the city as a public nuisance until the owners conform to a list of concerns including security. The city is also poised to approve construction of 32 townhouses along North 5th Street near Mountain View Park.
