Elko City Manager Jan Baum and Parks and Recreation Director James Wiley provided updates on council agenda items and infrastructure projects for water and sewer. The city swimming pool will be closed for a few weeks in winter and the city is soliciting members for the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The city will host junior ski and snowboard lessons and is offering new classes and activities including Wine Aerobics and Cake Decorating this season.
