Clint Mothershed of the Elko District BLM discussed fire safety and fire weather conditions heading into the next quarter. The California trail Interpretive Center has unveiled a new interactive exhibit, “Porter & Sawyer Trading Company,” featuring interactive exhibits on pioneer shopping and a wardrobe of pioneer clothes to try on for photo ops. The California Trail Interpretive Center is now open winter hours Wed-Sun located 8-miles west of Elko, take the Hunter Exit off I-80.
