Elko Convention and Visitor’s Authority Executive Director Annette Kerr and Marketing and Advertising manager Michelle Cromwell appeared on behalf of the city. Kerr described ECVA progress in achieving medium-term financing to pay off the Conference Center balloon payment. Elko County Commissioners agreed to a $3-million-dollar loan to accommodate new terms. Cromwell outlined special holiday events coming this season. There are 20 charity partner hopefuls in the mix.
