Lori Gilbert has been a radio broadcaster in Elko for more than 30 years. As host of the weekday radio show, “Elko, Live!” she interviews local and statewide guests on a variety of topics, keeping the community informed on emerging and ongoing issues.

Gilbert serves on the Board of Directors for the Committee Against Domestic Violence, the Nevada Arts Council, PBS Reno, and the STARS Committee for the Elko County School District.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Pastor Julie Vice, was a guest to talk about the non-profit food pantry, “The Table.” Donors have fed hundreds of individuals and families, from senior citizens to children, since the inception of the program in 2025.
