Upon leaving the Cowboy Arts and Gear Museum as Execuitve Director Jan Petersen has many plans and projects for preservation, storytelling and community engagement. Petersen will continue her involvement and advocacy for local history. She’s established a new column in the “Everything Elko,” magazine, “Time Traveler Tales.” The April edition features the story of the Elko “E” on the hillside.
