Biannual Tri Tip to go meal on 4/8/15
This meal is to raise money for the high school state participants. The meal consists of tri-tip, salad, a baked potato, corn on the cob, a roll and dessert. These meals are delivered to your car so that you can enjoy the privacy of your own home. They can be picked up from 5-7pm at Spring Creek High School and you don't even have to get out of your vehicle!
Four meals: $33
One meal: $11

Battle Mountain Fandango Fundraiser
Dinner and Dance! Saturday, April 11th
At the Battle Mountain Civic Center. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. Menu offers Steak, Baked Potatoes, Vegetables, Salad, Bread & Dessert. Music by the Plainsmen, and Old Country/Western Band.
Tickets are $25 per person, First come first served, Limited # of Available Tickets.
2014 Tax forms at the Library
Major income tax forms for the 2014 tax season are available at the Elko County Library. Due to Federal budget cuts, tax publications such as instruction books will not be in stock at the library this year. However, a reference copy will be available for patrons to consult or copy. Library staff will offer to print any forms not found at the library. Tax filers may download forms and publications themselves from the IRS website at http://www.irs.gov.Forms-&-Pubs. Filers can also request forms and instruction books to be sent by mail from the IRS website, or by calling toll-free at 1-800-3676.

April "Fools 30" Triathlon - Registration Deadline, Friday, April 10th
This unique triathlon allows participants to use the 30 days in the month of April to complete a full triathlon. A series of the Lazy Man Triathlon and the April "Fools 30" both shorten distances from Iron Man distances for this spring introduction to the series. Distances include: 1500 meter swim, 50 mile bike & 13 mile run. Register in person through April 10th at the Recreation Office located at 723 Railroad St. This is an adult only event; participants must be 18 and older.

Adult Softball Registration - Monday, April 20th
...is now open! Register today for the 2015 City of Elko Adult Men's & Women's softball league. You may register your team online at www.elkocity.com or in person at 723 Railroad Street. Deadline for team registration is Monday, April 20th. All teams must provide a sponsor payment or letter by that date. If a team does not provide a letter or payment, the team will not be scheduled and all registered players will be refunded. The 2015 fees are as follows:
Men's player fee: $85/player. Men's sponsor fee: $500
Women's player fee: $70/player. Women's sponsor fee: $350
